💔 Feeling Abandoned

We all experience moments when we feel abandoned or alone. These feelings can stem from various life situations, such as broken relationships, loss, or times of transition. However, the Bible assures us that even in our loneliest moments, God is with us.

Here are a few Scripture References to help your heart in times of loneliness:

✝️ Deuteronomy 31:6

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

This verse reminds us that God is always with us, even when we feel abandoned and alone. His presence is a constant source of strength and courage.

✝️ Psalm 27:10

"Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me."

Even if those closest to us abandon us, God will never turn away. He will never leave us nor forsake us and is always ready to embrace us with open arms.

✝️ Isaiah 49:15-16

"Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." 🥹🥰

God's commitment to us is deeper than even a mother's love for her child. We are engraved on the palms of His hands, a powerful image of His enduring Love, care and attention.

✝️ Romans 8:38-39

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Nothing can separate us from God's love. This assurance helps us face feelings of abandonment with the confidence that God's love remains steadfast and unchanging.

Heavenly Father,

In times of abandonment, remind us of Your unwavering presence, Grace, Mercy and Love. Help us to trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Strengthen our hearts with the assurance that Your love for us is constant and unbreakable. Fill us with the Peace of God and comfort, knowing that we are never truly alone because You are our constant help in times of trouble. Lord Jesus, help us remember who we are in Christ Jesus, help us to be bold and courageous through every season for the Kingdom of God.
