Forged in Faith Ministries Newsletter: Breaking Through, Not Broken

Dear Beloved,

There are moments in life when we feel completely shattered, from the heartache, trials and uncertainty of this life. When the weight of the world seems unbearable, and we wonder if we will ever be whole again. But I want to remind you today that you are not broken; you are breaking through.

When life breaks you, it isn’t because you’re too weak to handle it—it's because God is preparing to put you back together in a new and powerful way for His glory. Each piece of you that feels shattered will find its place, not in the way it once was, but in a way that carries more purpose, more meaning, and more strength, leading you into the man or woman of God He is calling you to.

Trust in the process. Trust that the cracks are where the light gets in.

The Apostle Paul reminds us of this in 2 Corinthians 4:7-9:

“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

We may feel broken, but we are not destroyed. It is through the fires of this life that we are forged in Faith. It is in our brokenness that we often discover our greatest wholeness, because God is working in the midst of it. It is in the cracks of our hearts where His light and His love pour in to heal and restore us. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

In these moments, God is giving us the courage to rebuild, to reimagine, and to redefine what it means to be strong. You are not the person you were yesterday—and that's a beautiful thing. The breaking you are experiencing is a breaking through into a deeper relationship with Him, into a greater understanding of His love, and into a strength that you never knew you had.

Beloved, trust the process. You may feel shattered now, but God is creating something new in you. Isaiah 43:19 speaks to this truth:

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

You are not broken; you are being transformed. The cracks you see are evidence of God’s light breaking through, preparing you for what’s ahead. Lean into His promises, and know that every tear, every trial, and every tough moment is working together for your good and for His glory (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this journey, and you are so deeply loved.

A Prayer for You:

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with hearts that may feel broken, lonely, heavy or forgotten but we thank You for the reminder that we are never beyond Your healing touch nor far from your grace and love. You are the Master Potter, and we are the clay. Mold us, shape us, and use us from within the cracks of our lives to let Your light shine through. We trust You in our brokenness, knowing that You are putting us back together in a way that will bring You and Your Kingdom for Your glory and bring us closer to You Father God. Help us to see the beauty in our struggles and give us the strength to keep pushing forward pressing into You, firmly in Faith of Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen and Amen!!

In His Grace and Mercy,

Your sister in Christ Jesus,

Jeannie Walker
