Forged in Faith Ministries Newsletter: Speaking the Name of Jesus Over Your Life

Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

I’ve been reflecting on a powerful truth that I wanted to share with you today. In moments when we face hurt, rejection, uncertainty and sorrow, sometimes the only thing we can do is speak the name of Jesus. And let me tell you—there is mighty power in His name! It’s not just words we speak; His Word is a lifeline, a call to Heaven for help, for healing, and for hope.

When we come before God with heavy hearts, even if we feel we have nothing left to give, speaking His name is enough. In fact, it’s everything. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10). His name carries the strength to change what feels impossible, to lift the weight of fear, and to bring peace where there’s been pain.

Right now, I speak the name of Jesus over your life. I pray that every circumstance that has weighed you down begins to shift. Whatever fear has settled in your heart, I pray it would flee in Jesus’ name. He has promised us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you” (Isaiah 41:10).

And even when it feels like you’re waiting for a breakthrough that hasn’t come yet, keep holding on to His promise. He is faithful. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). In speaking His name, we’re not just asking for things to get better—we’re inviting His very presence into our situation. And wherever our Lord and Savior is, miracles happen.

A Prayer Over You:

Heavenly Father,

I bring each person reading this before You today. You know the deepest parts of their heart, and You see the struggles they are carrying. Lord, I speak the powerful name of Jesus over and into their lives and hearts, asking that You release healing, strength and peace into them. Father God, remove fear and doubt but allow Your peace to rest upon them. Lord, may they see breakthrough today. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen and Amen.
