Forged in Faith Ministries Newsletter: The Power of Righteousness Through Faith

Scripture Focus: Romans 3:21-31

Hello beloveds,

This week, I want to share a powerful message that was placed on my heart rooted in Romans 3:21-31. As we journey together in Faith, it’s crucial to reflect on what it means to be made righteous in the sight of God, not by our works or efforts, but by our Faith in Christ Jesus.

Key Verse:🔥🕊️✝️ Romans 3:22-24

"This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."

🔥🕊️✝️ Righteousness Apart from the Law

In Romans 3:21-31, Paul reminds us that God's righteousness isn't based on our ability to follow the Law perfectly. We all fall short. But there is hope! Through Jesus, God's righteousness is made available to every person who believes, regardless of their background or past mistakes. This is the beauty of the gospel — that we are made righteous because of what Jesus did on the cross, the shedding of His precious Blood, not because of our own works or status.

🔥🕊️✝️The Gift of Grace Through Faith

Verses 23-24 are a cornerstone of our faith. "For all have sinned" is a humbling reminder that we all need the grace of God. Yet, it doesn't stop there. We are "justified freely" by God's grace through Christ Jesus. This is a free gift, one that cannot be earned but is received by Faith. It is Christ's sacrifice that redeems us and restores our relationship with God.

When we place our trust in Jesus, we are forgiven, set free, and declared righteous in God's sight. It’s not about being good enough — it’s about believing in the One who is.

🔥🕊️✝️ Boasting is Excluded (Verses 27-28)

Paul continues by asking, "Where, then, is boasting?" The answer is clear — we have no reason to boast about ourselves. Salvation is not something we achieve; it is something we receive. Our faith and belief in Him, not our deeds, brings us into right standing with God. This humbles us and reminds us to rely fully on God's grace, rather than our own abilities or accomplishments.

🔥🕊️✝️Faith for All People✝️🕊️🔥

Paul emphasizes that this gift of righteousness is for everyone. Whether Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, God's grace through Faith is extended to all. There are no exclusions in God's Kingdom. This truth challenges us to reflect on how we view others. In Christ, we are all equal recipients of grace and are called to extend that same grace to those around us by showing the Love or the heart of Christ Jesus to others.

Reflection and Application

As we meditate on Romans 3:21-31, consider these questions:

👑🪽⚔️Am I trying to earn God's approval through my works, or am I resting in His grace through faith in Christ?

👑🪽⚔️ How can I extend grace to others in the same way that God has freely given it to me?

👑🪽⚔️ Are there areas of my life where I am boasting in my own strength instead of giving glory to God? Let’s strive to be the hands and feet of God daily.

🔥🕊️✝️ Prayer:

Lord, we thank You for the gift of righteousness through our Faith in Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that we fall short of the glory of God and that we cannot earn Your love or approval. Yet, through Christ Jesus, You have freely given us grace and redemption. Lord Jesus, Help us to live in this Truth, humbling ourselves before You and relying fully on Your grace. Teach us to extend the same grace to others, that they too may come to know the power of Your love through other believers in the body of Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen and Amen. 🔥♥️🙏🏼♥️🔥✝️⚔️🩸🛡️👑🫶🏼

Remember, we are Forged in Faith, not by our own strength but by the grace of God working in and through us. Let’s continue to walk in the righteousness that Christ has freely given and reflect His love and grace to the world in all that we think, say and do. Shalom 🕊️ (Peace of God)

In His Grace and Mercy,

Your sister in Christ Jesus,
