Persevere through Faith

Endurance through steadfast belief

What do you do when all you can do is grasp at straws…. Praying and pleading for the Lord to heal your broken hearts; To restore what two have destroyed with neglect, empty promises and hurts. Begging and pleading, changing and healing from past wounds you didn’t ask for. Lord have mercy on this wounded heart. Strengthen me, rise me up to who You have called me to be! In Jesus name! Amen!

In times of deep distress and heartache, turning to prayer and seeking God's guidance can provide immense comfort and strength. Here are a few steps that might help you navigate through such challenging times:

1. Prayer and Surrender: Continue to pour out your heart to God. Trust that He hears your cries and understands your pain. Surrender your burdens to Him, asking for His healing and guidance.

2. Scripture and Reflection: Turn to the Bible for solace and wisdom. Verses like Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit," can remind you of God's presence in your suffering.

3. Community and Support: Lean on your faith community for support. Sharing your struggles with trusted friends, family, or church members can provide encouragement and practical help.

4. Counseling and Healing: Consider seeking counseling from a Christian therapist or pastor. Professional guidance can aid in processing past wounds and finding paths to healing and restoration.

5. Self-Care and Patience: Take care of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing takes time, and it's important to be gentle with yourself during this process.

6. Faith and Perseverance: Hold onto your faith, believing that God has a plan for you. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Your plea is powerful, and your faith is a testament to your strength. Trust that God is with you, working in ways you may not yet see. May you find peace and healing in His love.
