Spiritual Battle
Obedience to Christ Jesus
✝️🔥♥️🙏🏼♥️🔥⚔️🩸🛡️🪽
Good morning Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
I’m going to share something that I also battle frequently and daily it seems in one way or another. I pray this writing touches you from my heart to yours. Have a blessed day!
In this spiritual battle, it’s clear that the enemy, satan, seeks to draw people away from God, tempting them into sin that can lead to eternal separation from Him (John 10:10). However, the good news is that Jesus Christ has already paid the price for all sins through His death on the cross (Romans 5:8). By accepting Him as Lord and Savior, individuals receive His Holy Spirit, which guides them into eternal life and the promise of a new heaven and earth (John 3:16; Revelation 21:1).
Satan, the defeated ruler of this world, knows his time is short (Revelation 12:12). Many people are losing their lives prematurely, dying in their sins, unaware of the truth.(Romans 6:23). His goal is to deceive through false doctrines, leading people away from the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Timothy 4:1). This is why surrendering to Jesus and living a life led by His Holy Spirit is essential. We are called to keep our bodies, the temples of the Holy Spirit, pure and holy, free from the works of darkness (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Standing on God’s Word ensures that no one will be misled or deceived (Psalm 119:105). The Word of God, found in the Bible, will never fail and will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Our Heavenly Father is always ready to welcome back those who have strayed, inviting them to return to their first love by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and walking in holiness (Revelation 2:4-5).
Victory has already been won in this spiritual war (1 Corinthians 15:57). Everyone is invited to accept Jesus and live according to the commands of God (John 14:15). As the Father fights for us, obedience is our role in this battle (Exodus 14:14). If someone feels no struggle for their soul, it’s time to recognize that sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). Left unchecked, sin can lead to destruction unless the individual repents and cries out for mercy (1 John 1:9). Those who die in Christ will rest and be resurrected when Jesus returns. (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
For those who remain steadfast in their Faith in Christ Jesus, keeping their lamps filled with the Word of God and living in obedience, there is assurance in Hope. (Matthew 25:4). They will not be led astray by Satan’s schemes (James 4:7). However, we must not become lukewarm, for doing so can cause God to turn away from us (Revelation 3:16).
This is a spiritual war, and while sin may offer temporary pleasures, it’s not worth losing one’s soul over (Matthew 16:26). Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and setting our minds on things that are pure, holy, and pleasing to God is the path to eternal life (Philippians 4:8). Holiness is not optional; it’s a requirement for all of God’s children (1 Peter 1:15-16).
The good news is that if God is for us, no one can stand against us (Romans 8:31). God fights for us, and sometimes the battle can be intense, especially for those with a higher calling (2 Corinthians 10:4). But He equips and anoints each of us for His purpose. (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). As we put our Faith in Him and remain still in His presence, He brings justice and victory. (Psalm 46:10).
God disciplines and molds those He loves, shaping them for His glory (Hebrews 12:6). He prunes and perfects us, taking us from one level of glory to the next, always for His purposes. (2 Corinthians 3:18). Through our obedience, He is glorified, and we inherit treasures stored in heaven, treasures that no one can take away from us. (Matthew 6:20).
In this spiritual war, the choice is clear. We must decide whom we will serve: God, or the defeated god of this world, satan (Joshua 24:15). We cannot walk both paths. God calls us to crucify the flesh daily, offering our bodies as living sacrifices and walking the narrow path of holiness (Romans 12:1; Matthew 7:14). Following the ways of the world leads to destruction, but living for God leads to eternal life (Romans 6:22).
Victory is already ours through Jesus, who conquered death and the grave (Revelation 1:18). The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead lives within us (Romans 8:11). As we follow His example, we are empowered to overcome the enemy (1 John 4:4). The fight is real, and it requires us to deny ourselves and walk in holiness (Luke 9:23).
Ultimately, the decision lies with each one of us. We can only serve one master—God or satan (Matthew 6:24). The path we choose will determine our eternal destiny.
It is written: Choose this day whom you will serve (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that has already been won through Jesus Christ. Help us to walk in holiness, standing firm in Your truth and resisting the enemy’s schemes. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may live pure, holy and blameless lives before You. Guide us on the narrow path, and strengthen us to crucify the flesh daily. We choose You, Lord, and we surrender our lives into Your hands. Lead us into eternal life, and keep us close to You, always. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen and Amen. 🔥♥️🙏🏼♥️🔥🪽😇🌺✝️
Much love!
