Dear Forged in Faith Family,

In these times of political tension and division, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the noise around us. Our world is abuzz with opinions, parties, and debates that can leave us feeling divided and uncertain. Yet, as believers, we find comfort in a truth that goes far beyond earthly matters: our King Jesus reigns above it all and will always have the final say!

A Prayer for Unity and Peace

Today, we come together as a nation with a heartfelt prayer. Let’s remind ourselves that, no matter where we stand politically, our true citizenship is in God’s eternal kingdom. We are united under His sovereign reign, called to seek peace, show love, and place our ultimate hope in Him, regardless of how uncertain things may be in this world.

May we look beyond the labels—red, blue, donkey, elephant—and instead, see each other as God sees us: as His children, chosen and set apart for His purposes. In a world that often tries to pit us against each other, we can choose a higher path. We can choose love, understanding, compassion and grace. As we walk this journey, let’s ask God to lead us in humility, mercy, and justice. Let’s be the light that points others back to Him, showing that our peace and steps in unity are rooted in something that transcends any earthly allegiance.

Healing Our Nation

As we pray for our leaders, let’s also lift up our nation as a whole. God’s hand is mighty to heal, to bring unity where there’s division, and to provide clarity in times of confusion. Together, let’s ask Him to lead us forward, reminding us that His wisdom far exceeds our own and His love encompasses us all. Let’s stand bold, courageous and firm in Faith knowing that He is working all things out for our good. A powerful Bible verse that resonates with the theme of unity, peace, and placing our trust in God’s sovereign rule is:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV):

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

✝️This verse serves as a reminder that when we come together in unity, humility, prayer, and repentance, God hears us and is faithful to bring healing to our land. It calls us to look beyond ourselves and seek God’s presence, trusting in His power to unite and restore all things for His good.

Micah 6:8 (NKJV):

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly.”

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,

In Jesus name, We thank You for being our firm foundation in a world that feels uncertain, cold and divided. Guide our hearts toward You Lord Jesus, filling us with Your peace, strength and love. May we become vessels of the peace of God, unity and grace, reflecting Your light to those around us, proclaiming the word of God boldly; Lead us, Lord Jesus, and heal our land. We trust in You, knowing that in Your hands, all things are made whole.
